# I've been banned

All decisions are made based on our [community guidelines](https://docs.blacksky.community/info-about-blacksky-the-community/blacksky-community-guidelines), and accounts/posts are only labeled, taken down, or suspended if they have gone against those community guidelines.

In reference to Bluesky suspensions, our moderation automatically copies it, and when appealed, we do an investigation to make sure the account also did not go against our ToS. 

If you’d like to file for an appeal, please [submit a ticket](https://blackskyweb.xyz/about/support/). We will get back to you with our decision, which can take up to 5-7 business days.

For a bit of transparency, our community guidelines and labels were voted on by Blacksky users via [Blacksky's People's Assembly](https://assembly.blacksky.community/). These guidelines are updated yearly, and we are also open to suggestions via [Blacksky's People's Assembly](https://assembly.blacksky.community/).
