Appeal a moderation label

If a post of yours has been labeled by our moderation with a description you don’t agree with and this has led to the taking down of your post, or the suspension of your account, you can file an appeal. If you file an appeal this can take up to 5 business days for our team to review. We will reach out to you with our decision when we’ve made it.

All decisions are made based on our community guidelines, and accounts/posts are only labeled if they have gone against those community guidelines, regardless of identity, but we always investigate any appeals.

Our community guidelines and labels were voted on by Blacksky users via Blacksky's People's Assembly. These guidelines are updated yearly, and we are also open to suggestions via Blacksky's People's Assembly. You can also reference our moderation and labels page for more information.
